Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: We are a
professional theatre company and welcome all to audition. There are two
available roles: (1) Mother of Asian background, and (2) her 18-year-old son
also of Asian background, both from Beijing.

Additional information:
This is a new play by Aaron Bushkowsky about Vancouver's housing crisis.
It's called "Satellites" and will go into production Nov. 16-26, 2017. It's
directed by Bill Dow. We're looking to cast a mother and 18 year-old son
from Beijing who play Cherry and Li in the play. Both characters are new to
Canada. Auditions are May 27 at Playwrights Theatre Centre in Vancouver.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
