NEGOTIATIONS FOR THE 2017-2020 ROYAL WINNIPEG BALLET AGREEMENT SUCCESSFULLY
CONCLUDE

Equity announces that bargaining the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Agreement (RWBA)
has successfully concluded.
Regular, Regular - Extended Visa, Associate and Life Equity members, in good
standing and who were engaged under the 2014-2017 RWBA, are eligible to vote
on the proposed changes.
The ratification vote for this Agreement will begin Friday, May 12, 2017 and
conclude on Thursday, June 8, 2017. It will be conducted by mail only.
The results of the ratification will be announced on e-drive and on Equity's
website at www.caea.com on Friday, June 9, 2017.
Equity and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet entered into formal negotiations
mid-February 2017 and bargaining concluded on May 8, 2017. The agreement
between the parties to specific negotiated language was confirmed on May 10,
2017.
Pending a successful ratification, the amended terms of the RWBA will take
effect as of July 1, 2017.
