EQUITY BYLAW UPDATES - OCTOBER COUNCIL MEETING - NOVEMBER 2017

Equity's Council encourages all members to be familiar with the rules that
govern membership in our Association. Electronic copies of the current
bylaws are always posted for review or download in the "Document Library"
section of EQUITYONLINE, and are available in print format upon request to
the Association.

At its meeting of October 29, 2017 Council approved the following bylaw
changes: Articles 8, 22, 23, 38, 39.1, 90 and 137: clauses in each of
these articles were amended to reflect a more inclusive use of pronouns,
eliminating “he”, “him”, “his”, “she”, and “her”, using alternatives
"they", "an artist", and rephrasing when needed for clarification.
