This is an invitation to attend an Emerald Ash Borer Survey workshop presented by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) on March 18, 2008 in London, Ontario.
The content of this workshop will focus on biology and background of the pest, relevant policies and regulations, survey methodologies, management and on-going research conducted within Canada.
This workshop will be a one day session with presentations in the morning and a field trip to an infested site in the afternoon. Therefore, participants must bring appropriate footwear and cold-weather attire.
All travel expenses, per diems, accommodation and transportation must be covered by the attendees.
Copies of the Canadian Forest Service's EAB Detection Guide and the EAB Survey Guide will be provided to workshop participants.
Spaces will be filled on a first come, first serve basis, with a capacity of 30 participants.
