FYI, thought you might be interested in this.  The Premier of BC
recently announced some initiatives with regards to tree planting and
"urban afforestation" through a program called Trees for Tomorrow in the
recent Throne Speech.  I don't know any details but it's good to see
that urban forestry seems to be getting some more attention at the
Provincial level.
