I was saddened to read of our loss. Craig did a great job in Ottawa and will be missed by his friends and colleagues here in the states as well.

So sorry to hear of Craig Huff's passing, Andy.
As you know he was one of the very committed members of the OPFA Urban Forestry Committee. He was still voluntering to do extra work for the committee up until a few weeks ago.
Although I did not know him well, I do know that he was doing an excellent job in Ottawa as the City Forester
We will all miss him. 
My condolences to his family and many friends in the Forestry field.

  I'm sorry to have to pass along news of the loss of one of our colleagues and a good friend to many of us.  Craig Huff, forester for the City of Ottawa, will be sadly missed by his family, his community and his profession.

Manager, City of Ottawa - Forestry Services With his loving wife by his side, Craig passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus, after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday March 17, 2008 in his 52nd year. Loving husband of Glenda (nee Becksted). Proud and loving father of Miles and Emma. Cherished son of Colin and Claudia Huff of Lennoxville, Quebec. Dear brother of Cary. Special son-in-law of Glenn and Donna Becksted and brother-in-law to Dawn and Scott. He will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and colleagues. A special thank you to all those who provided care and support at the time of Craig's illness. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2370 St-Joseph Blvd., Orleans, Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Thursday in the chapel at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Tree Canada Foundation.
