With respect to municipal specification, Dave Domke in Winnipeg has some experience with putting Silva Cells into the municipal specification so you may want to talk to him.

As well: The city of Toronto is in the process of writing a specification for Silva Cells for the Central Waterfront, Bloor Street and West Don Lands projects. You may want to speak to Peter Simon about that process:

Hi all,

I was wondering if any one has tried and or is using Silva Cells by Deep
root as spec for street tree plantings.

Any info would be great as we are looking at perhaps specking this
system for future street plantings.

I am familiar with the concept and have seen it presented a few
times...I am looking for some installation info and post success as well
as pros and cons to the system.

I saw Ian Wilson's presentation on the City of Kelownas installation and
use and was curious for some more feedback.

Thanks,

Guy Martin

I think you can download all the specs from their website!
