Stuart. I think Uxbridge nursery would be a good start. I thought they might of grow Platanus at one time.  Sheridan, Krauss, Cramer ( Montreal).  Mori (maybe) VanWinklemoler(? I forget the spelling). You may have to go the States for the size you need. I doubt if you will get that size in Ontario. If not I would look in New York State for hardiness reasons at least choose the same hardiness zone, otherwise the winter kill could be severe. Talk to the nurserymen with how long they have been grown at the nursery. And if anthracnose has been a problem (check the stock branches for cankers on site) This is to gauge how many winters the have had as most seed sources are Southern species (my experience) and make sure you see the tree before you buy. I would tag them at the nursery as well , if its too far to travel then the tree may not be hardy enough if you are too far out of the Toronto zone.   My 10 cents. Good luck. Mark Burleton.
