[CANUFNET] biochar research in Ontario?

Good Day Canufnet list,
Is anyone doing research into either biochar production or the  
application of it in soils? We're a gathering of interested folk here  
in Ontario looking into different aspects of this; research,  
capacity-building, opportunities and barriers-to etc, in order to  
explore its potential here in the province.
We are interested in meeting with and discussing this with anyone  
already working on it or leaning in this direction.
