Subject: [CANUFNET] City operated tree farm

Hello everyone,

The City of Montreal operates a 68 ha tree farm which currently has 70
000 trees under various stages of production. It is located 40 km from
the town centre. The farm provides most of the trees for our different
street planting projects. Does anyone know of another major Canadian
city that runs a similar operation? I'm especially interested in knowing
the size (ha) of the farm and production capacity. All information is
welcomed! Thank you.
