[CANUFNET] ragweed control

Do any municipalities do anything to control Ragweed, especially along
roadsides?  Quebec sounds like it has put ragweed to the forefront but it
does not seem to be a concern in Ontario.  I am looking for contact names to
discuss the issue.  Any ideas?
