Please join Jeremy Barrell, Andy Sherlock and Philip van Wassenaer for an
intensive two-day workshop focusing on tree assessment and management on
development sites - from residential lots to entire communities. 

These three leading arboricultural consultants will discuss challenging
issues such as tree health, condition and risk assessments, preservation
planning and prioritization, and integration of trees into sustainable
development.

The speakers will present innovative techniques currently being applied in
the United Kingdom, including the TreeAZ and TreeAH tree assessment
methodologies. They will also compare and contrast international
perspectives on tree risk assessment, highlight advanced risk assessment
methodologies, and show how this evolving discipline can be an important
part of managing trees on development sites. 

 

This workshop will include lectures, field sessions and many opportunities
for interactive participation. Participants will leave with fresh and
innovative ideas that will raise the bar for tree assessment and management
on development sites in Canada.
