CUFC11 are pleased to announce there will be a full day 'Tree Academy' and two half day 'Pre Conference Workshops' on Monday September 29 September, 2014.  These additional seminars can be booked when registering online and there are ticket prices associated with each event.
Tree Academy Topics:

 *   Advance Tree Risk Assessment: Julian Dunster, Dunster & Associates Environmental Consultants Ltd.
 *   Tree Biomechanics: Where are we now? (Historical overview and current thinking): Philip Wassenaer, Urban Forest Innovations Inc.
 *   Direction matters: Designing for wind resistance in urban trees: Susy Domenicano, Université du Québec à Montréal
A discounted rate of $225 is available for those attending CUFC11, please book when registering online for the conference or edit your registration to add the discounted rate.  The public cost to attend the Tree Academy is $290.  Lunch is included in the registration fee.
