As part of the organizing committee, I would like to cordially invite you and all your colleagues to attend the Demo International(r) 2016 Conference www.demointernational.com<http://www.demointernational.com> scheduled for September 19 - 21, 2016 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The Canadian Woodlands Forum (CWF) and the Faculty of Forestry at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in collaboration with FPInnovations, the Canadian Institute of Forestry (CIF) and Council on Forest Engineering (COFE) are hosting this event.


In addition to the diverse technical program (http://www.cif-ifc.org/program/), the event will also host the Annual General Meetings of both the CIF and COFE, along with interesting and informative post conference field trips. The conference will also be held in conjunction with Demo International(r) 2016 which will be held September 22-24, 2016 in Maple Ridge - 45 km East of Vancouver.

Over the course of the conference, seven individual themes will offer a diverse and comprehensive program presenting an opportunity for conference participants to discuss timely issues affecting different areas of forestry. This event along with the networking opportunity and its affiliation with DEMO International(r) 2016 will certainly attract well over 350 forest practitioners and members of the fibre supply chain from across Canada, the USA and abroad.
