Yes, i did not know The name in English, did not have Time To consult my Book.  In French It is Chêne à gros fruits - Quercus macrocarpa, yes lots of gigantic ones in Hudson, Qc.

Thank you for your reply. I missed calculated, omitting the secondary stem. The leaves are parent to red oak, I have a remarkable white oak (photo dated April 2016) on my property with rounded sinus leaves. I will go back today to the red oak and give you the info, then calculate the carbon.

Selon un collègue, Alain Cogliastro, chercheur botaniste de l’IRBV, il se pourrait que ce soit le plus gros répertorié après celui qui s’est abîmé à Cookshire.
