*How can you use new tools to analyze and plan your urban forest? *

We hope you will join us *Tuesday, November 1st at 2pm ET* for a webinar
<https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/6888144957647830785> on how you
can use tools developed by OpenTreeMap <http://www.opentreemap.org> to make
more informed tree planting decisions.

How do you currently decide where to plant trees? The answer depends on
your organization's goals, available funding, practical logistics that
influence the number of trees you can plant and where you can plant them,
and dozens of other factors.

With support from a USDA Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant,
the OpenTreeMap team developed a software tool for helping urban forestry
practitioners identify optimal planting locations and estimate the future
ecosystem benefits of those trees over time. Join us to learn more about
how the soon to be released modeling and prioritization tools help you
demonstrate the value of your trees.

During this webinar
<https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/6888144957647830785>, we will
explore:

   - Possibilities for using existing sociodemographic and land-use data to
   explore potential planting locations
   - Estimating the future environmental and economic benefits of trees
   - Using maps and projected benefits information to advocate for the
   urban forest

*Tuesday, November 1st*
