[CANUFNET] Urban Forests in the News - CBC Sunday Edition

Hello fellow canufneters!

 

Just wanted to send a quick note that as a follow-up to the recent Urban
Forests of Tomorrow conference held at the University of Toronto in
Mississauga, the CBC will be airing an interview with three of the invited
speakers, David Callow from the City of Melbourne, Dr. Cecil Konijnendijk
van den Bosch from UBC and Meaghan Eastwood from the Toronto Region
Conservation Authority.

 

The interview is currently scheduled to start on air between 9:35 and 9:40
a.m. this Sunday, Canada Day, on the Sunday Edition on CBC Radio 1.

 

The CBC is also creating a web page (including the audio of the conversation
with Gillian) that will be published sometime around 6 p.m. this evening.
