[CANUFNET] CUFN Steering Committee Prairies Representation

Dear Canadian Urban Forestry Network (CUFN) Members:

Do you live in the Prairies region (Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba) and are interested in serving the urban forest community?

Tree Canada is currently looking for a Prairies Representative on the CUFN Steering Committee.

Committee members serve for three years and meet four times/year via conference call, write two short articles about their Region and are expected to perform other functions including:

  *   Providing input on other projects and documents depending on CUFN priorities (e.g. survey questions, communications and outreach tools)
  *   Providing input and direction for the Canadian Urban Forest Strategy when it is up for renewal each term

  *   Bringing in new members to the CUFN - reach out to new groups locally
  *   Helping implement a series of regional urban forestry conferences or workshops in the off years of the biennial Canadian Urban Forest Conference;

If you're interested in serving, please outline in an email message why you are interested in being part of the Committee and include a current CV.
