What’s even more interesting in this grossly disconnected decision is the after-life of graduates.

There are more jobs in the realm of Urban Forestry - from scientists and researchers to managers - than in most other sectors of natural resources and yet more and more schools are dropping the discipline.

Given the Climate Change crisis and the importance of studies that address mitigation and adaptation, such decisions leave on breathless, especially as John has noted, at the birthplace of it all with the coining of urban forestry by Professor. Jorgensen.

Very disquieting for those of us who fully understand the importance of the varied disciplines such a decision will impact.
