[CANUFNET] oak planted in tire

I'm sorry to say that it appears that this tree has given up. it looks more
dead than alive. I believe that any resources expended to preserve this
tree will be for not.

It is difficult to let go of a tree that has historical or sentimental
significance. I would suggest removing the tree and replacing it with
another commemorative tree with a nice plaque. Perhaps some of the wood
from the original tree could be incorporated into a bench or something to
accompany the commemorative planting.
