[CANUFNET] COVID-19 pandemic impacts on municipal UF budgets

Hello CANUFNET members,

Halifax Regional Council is considering a budget reduction proposal to
cancel tree planting and cyclical pruning for FY 20/21 (approx. $1M). This
is in response to pandemic-related revenue shortfalls that the City is
experiencing. I would like to know if other Canadian municipalities are
facing similar UF budget cutbacks.
