Hi Jessika:

“The Municipalities for Climate Innovation Program is a five-year $75-million program, delivered by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities and funded by the Government of Canada.”

Source: https://fcm.ca/en/programs/municipalities-climate-innovation-program

Not sure its current status but the Town of Collingwood received $96,000 from FCM under this Program for its Urban Forest Management Plan which we helped to deliver earlier this year: https://engage.collingwood.ca/urban-forest-management-plan

Wishing you well for success with your initiative.

Hope this helps,

John McNeil,

Subject: [CANUFNET] Funding to support municipal Urban Forest Management Plans

Hello,

Is anyone aware of funding sources that support municipalities in creating an Urban Forest Management Plan?

Many thanks,
Jessika
