The City of New Westminster is seeking a dynamic individual (or two) to fill the Environmental Technician - Arboriculture role (regular, full time).  This is a fast paced, dynamic role that interacts with applicants, multiple departments, and stakeholders with a primary focus on the administration and enforcement of the Tree Protection and Regulation Bylaw<https://www.newwestcity.ca/database/files/library/7799_Tree_Protection_Regulation.pdf>. Additionally, this position will work with the Parks & Recreation Department to promote the growth/public education/benefits of the urban forest as outlined in the Urban Forest Management Strategy<https://www.newwestcity.ca/database/files/library/Urban_forest_management_strategy_FINALreduced_size.pdf>.
