[CANUFNET] water-permeable alternatives to concrete or asphalt

Hi everyone.

The installation of driveways and walkways is often detrimental to tree
roots. I'm curious as to the feasibility of incorporating any of these
water-permeable alternatives in a build, given the rather severe annual
freeze-thaw cycles here in Canada.
