Hello,

 

The Canadian Institute of Forestry/Institut forestier du Canada invites you
to participate in an Urban Forestry E-Lecture Series (webinars) coordinated
by Tree Canada entitled "Novel Technologies and Considerations in Municipal
Urban Forest Management and Planning". This series of E-Lectures will be
held on Wednesdays, November 10th, 17th and 24th, 2021 at 1:30pm EST /

*	ISA Certified Arborists are eligible for 1 Continuing Education Unit
(CEU) per webinar - the CEU's can only be obtained by attending the LIVE
session. 

 

Please consult the instructions below for information on how to connect for
the live E-Lectures. You will need a computer with stable internet access.
If you do not have access to the internet, please email us so we can send
you a copy of the presentation slides to follow along.

 

The E-Lectures will be delivered through the AdobeRConnectT web conferencing
software. Newer versions of the webinar platform may prompt you to download
a free add-in. Follow the instructions on-screen to install.

10 minutes prior to the E-Lecture start time:

 

Option 1: Web-only login: connecting through the Internet (recommended)

1.Go to URL  <http://cif-ifc.adobeconnect.com/electures/>

>Select "Enter as a GUEST", type your full name and then click "Enter Room"

 

2.Newer versions of AdobeConnect may prompt for download of a new add-in.
Follow the instructions on screen to install.

 

3.When prompted, select "Listen Only" on the bottom right corner of the
message box

 

4.All questions can be directed towards the chat pod

 

Option 2: Phone + web login: (preferred option if you have a poor Internet
connection)

*         Enter access code 3464858#

*         Continue to follow Web-only login steps above
