Applications are now open for the University of British Columbia Faculty of Forestry’s Climate Action and Community Engagement (CACE) micro-certificate<https://forestry.ubc.ca/programs/certificate/climate-action-community-engagement/>!

Are you:

  *   keen on advancing climate action at the grassroots level,
  *   looking for professional development opportunities to build your skills in community engagement, and / or
  *   aspiring to improve your organization’s sustainability practices and ESG goals?

If so, the CACE program could be perfect for you! Through an 8-week online program, you will learn to:


  *   identify climate change causes, impacts, and solutions at the local scale
  *   facilitate fun, interactive and hands-on activities to engage your community in climate conversations
  *   inspire and motivate your community to take real action on the ground
  *   design your very own community engagement plan for local-scale climate action

CACE grows the skills required to address the rapidly growing need for civic participation in climate action within communities vulnerable to climate change extremes. The next cohort runs from February 13 – April 28, 2023.
