Tree Canada is seeking proposals by municipalities to host the 16th Canadian Urban Forest Conference<https://treecanada.ca/research-engagement/canadian-urban-forest-conference/> in 2026.

What You Can Expect - Benefits to Host City

  *   Showcase your municipality's greenspaces and approaches to urban forestry to forestry specialists from across Canada.
  *   Increased travel and tourism with approximately 350 conference participants spending 3-4 days in your City and contributing to the local economy.
  *   Position your City as a municipal leader in urban greening, contributing to the fight against climate change and its impact on communities.


Fill out the Notice of Intent form<https://treecanada.ca/research-engagement/cufc-2026/#form> by December 20th, 2023, to be considered.

Ce à quoi vous pouvez vous attendre - Avantages pour la ville hôte

  *   Présenter les espaces verts de votre municipalité et vos approches en matière de foresterie urbaine à des spécialistes en foresterie des quatre coins du Canada.
  *   Stimuler le tourisme : environ 350 personnes passeront 3 à 4 jours dans votre ville pour assister à la conférence et contribueront à l'économie locale.
  *   Positionner votre ville comme leader municipal en verdissement urbain afin de contribuer à la lutte contre les changements climatiques et ses répercussions sur la population.
