Hello urban forestry colleagues,

We are working with a team of architects, planners, and engineers to
implement a Canada-wide program for municipalities to increase their
housing supply with infill-at-scale. The program, BuildingIN
<https://www.buildingin.ca/>, aims to intensify neighbourhoods, while also
creating walkable communities with tree-lined streets. We are excited that
trees have been recognized as a priority!

One aspect of this project is to explore green solutions for stormwater
management (Low Impact Development). From what we can tell, many
municipalities have been recently implementing these initiatives, but we
are unable to find concrete examples that we can share with the team, and
other municipalities, to demonstrate their effectiveness. If you work for a
municipality that has recently implemented a LID project at a neighbourhood
level and are willing to share your experiences, we would love to hear from
you.

Thank you,

Astrid
