MFI is the premier leadership training for people in the urban forestry profession. Urban foresters and municipal arborists like you are providing needed and impactful work every day. UCFS and its Municipal Forestry Institute stand ready to support you through leadership development that will ensure you're able to take your forestry program to the next level.

MFI will be held February 23-28, 2025, in Scotts Valley, California. Nestled near redwood forests around Santa Cruz, this setting offers an ideal backdrop to step away and focus on your professional growth. At MFI, you'll learn from experts in the field of urban forestry on what it takes to lead all while forming deep connections with your peers.
