This unique "train the trainers" online program equips practitioners (from urban forestry, planning, engagement & education), community leaders, NGOs, and youth groups with best practices & 'cool tools' to engage and empower their communities on local climate solutions. As climate extremes increase, it's more important than ever to build preparedness and take collective action to meet our carbon emission targets.

Program Highlights:
*         Flexible Learning: 8 weeks part-time and fully online, with optional feedback sessions from experienced engagement practitioners
*         Impactful Skills: apply powerful techniques (backed by research) to customize your own community engagement plan through the course
*         Proven Results:  participants from the last 3 years of CACE confirm that the program "provides something that is lacking.... There is a lot of theory in other learning resources, but we need practical stuff", leading to successful engagement programs on-the-ground in Canada and internationally.
*         Recognized Micro-credential: demonstrate your expertise with a UBC Digital Badge
