Communities can access up to $175,000 in support from the Green Municipal Fund’s Urban forestry plans and studies funding. This funding is designed to increase your local government’s capacity to strategically manage canopies while enhancing community and forest resilience, ecological health and social equity.

You won’t have to do it alone. GMF also offers resources and coaching services that will support your community in creating or updating plans to manage existing trees, grow canopy cover and build policies that bring health and resilience benefits to all residents.

Les municipalités peuvent obtenir un financement maximal de 175 000 $ du Fonds municipal vert pour élaborer un plan ou une étude de foresterie urbaine. Ce financement est conçu pour soutenir votre gouvernement municipal dans la gestion stratégique des canopées en améliorant la résilience des municipalités et des forêts, la santé écologique et l’égalité sociale.
