This short paper was written to try to inform/influence policy people at COP30 and was co-authored by some half-dozen or more Canadian urban-forest scholars. It will be followed up with a longer paper justifying the arguments in the Letter. As far as I know, the paper is open access, but if you can't get access, let me know and I can forward a copy to you.
