Debt for Climate
Rich nations owe a massive climate debt to poorer nations: for the devastating impacts of the fossil fuels we have burned. Yet we have no intention of paying for the loss and damage we have caused. Poor countries are deemed to owe massive financial debts to the rich nations, yet they cannot pay them without destroying their economies and their ecosystems. The proposal is simultaneously to cancel both the climate and the financial debts, liberating the money poorer nations need to take climate action.

Heal ourselves to heal the world
Tues. June 28, 7:30 - 9 p.m. ET

If so, join me for a meditative process of inquiry called "The Work", pioneered by Byron Katie, to question the painful judgements we have, and clean up our inner environment so we can rejuvenate our work. Cost: pwyc, by e-transfer after the workshop.

Acting on the Glasgow Statement: Shifting International Public Finance from Fossil Fuels to Clean Energy
