Fossil fuel emissions are causing fires, floods, droughts and heat domes. On October 1, National Seniors Day, the Seniors for Climate project is planning events in over 55 centres across the country calling for:

- Expand renewable sources of energy immediately 

- Stop burning fossil fuels 

- Stop opposing youth and Indigenous climate cases in court. 50+ events across Canada.

 

Toronto event:

Tuesday Oct. 1, 1:30 University Avenue and Armoury and march en masse to the Church of the Holy Trinity, 1 Trinity Sq.
