Pride Night March - Let's get critical - our pride is political
Monday June 23, 6:45 – 9 pm. Rally at 7 p.m. Then we march at 7:30.
Meet at Church and Alexander Streets
Pride began as a grassroots political movement. We do have a lot to celebrate, but there is still reason to demonstrate. Queer Rights, like the rights of so many other marginalized & racialized communities are hard won, but too easily taken from us. Pride has been co-opted into a corporate party. We remember our radical roots. Pride is still political. We need to keep agitating to keep the power in our Queer communities. We must keep fighting! Since its a night march - bring reflectors and bike lights - sparkle!

How To: Seed Bomb Making Workshop
Tuesday June 24, 5 - 7 pm

$5 for Harvest Noon members & University of Toronto graduate students; $10 for for non-members (includes your $5 lifetime Harvest Noon membership – please sign up under members); PWYC (Pay What You Can) spaces available for those experiencing financial difficulty
This workshop will feature hands-on demonstration on how to create seed bombs, an ancient agricultural practice now more prominently used in guerrilla gardening. Through simple activity of making seed bombs; mixing clay, water, compost, and seeds:
	• We can learn about the importance of spreading native plants, and how these plants are crucial to sustain our local bio-diversity.
	• We can learn about composting, the process nature recycles life through decay.
	• Also how to protect native pollinators; not only honey bees and butterflies are hurting because of the lack of habitat and food, so are solitary bees.
But most importantly, a new perspective on how the smallest things we can do can have such great impact. All materials will be provided and you will walk away with your very own seed bombs!

Tuesday June 24, 6 pm
OISE (252 Bloor Street West), room 8201
