Cpso.co Protest
(Coalition for Physician and Surgeon Oversight)
Meet on Mon. Oct. 20, 8:30 am at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario headquarters, 80 College St. W
March to Queen's Park - Legislative Assembly grounds (University Ave. north of College) for a 10 a.m. rally
Many of us lost children to irresponsible psychiatric prescribing. Some lost family members to preventable medical errors. The doctors responsible were protected by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. They were not disciplined and the public was not informed of offenders nor repeat offenders. The healthcare system must enable proper investigation and the laying of charges. In Ontario it does not. Coalition members will carry signs with photos of family members, mostly children, killed by negligent Ontario physicians.

Dirty Hands in Politics – Stained with Blood in Kobane
Thursday, October 23, 7 – 9 p.m.
Beit Zatoun, 612 Markham (at Bloor)
With the appearance of ISIS/ISIL on the scene since spring 2014, the bloodshed, the events and forces at play in the “Middle East” seem more puzzling than ever and the hope for a peaceful resolution ever more remote. We examine the reasons that led to the extraordinary rise of ISIS/ISIL in both Iraq and Syria. This event is intended as a community conversation after opening remarks and contextualizing by our speaker, Kawa Jabary. Kawa Jabary was born in the Kurdish region of Northern Iraq. Kawa organizes symposia and workshops within the Iraqi diaspora to promote peace in Iraq. $5

This is a powerful exploration of the evangelical campaign to infuse African culture with values imported from America's Christian Right.
