Réseau SOLIDARITÉ Itinérance du Québec, which is a network of more than 200
homelessness agencies throughout the Province of Quebec, will hold its
annual assembly on Friday September 14th 2007 in Sherbrooke (1 hour and a
half from Montreal).

 

We wait around 70 activists (40 voting members) from 12 areas that will
think together about our action plans for this year. 

At this occasion, we plan to make a rally on federal funding.

 

We would like to invite our folks from other provinces to join to this
assembly.

Wayne from Halifax coalition already confirmed his presence, for our great
pleasure.

Of course, the assembly would be in French only, so if you want to attend,
you need to be familiar with French.

 

There is no fee to attend this meeting, only a contribution for meal (about
10$). 

If you need accommodation, I could give you some suggestions.

Unfortunately, we have no $$ to contribute for transportation.
