A new workshop on suicide prevention is being offered on May 6 at the Canadian Mental Health Association.

 

SuicideCARE was developed for people who work with persons at risk beyond the immediate first aid situation and who want to learn more about helping a person at risk over time.

 

It is closely linked to the Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) and applicants need to have taken ASIST .We are now introducing it as another workshop to help create a suicide safer community in Ottawa.
