FYI   Discovery University needs your support.

 

Next Friday, May 2, there will be a benefit concert for Discovery University
at which the internationally acclaimed pianist Slava Senyshyn will be
performing. The event is made possible by the Canadian University of
University Teachers (CAUT).  They want to sell as many tickets as possible
as it seems the concert is the only source of income for the DU program this
year.  

 

May 2nd , 8pm, Tabaret Hall

University of Ottawa

Tıckets $25

Students & Seniors $20

 

This semester, 40 students registered, which means that 40 people had an
opportunity to learn, to be challenged, to grow as individuals and to be
part of a community that they otherwise would not have access to.   DU
creates opportunities for people, which is invaluable! Tickets and bus fare
are provided so the students so they can attend the concert.
