 Panel: 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. 

Violence against women affects families across all of our community.  This
is not a social problem to be managed, it is a crime problem that we must
bring to an end.  Much progress has been made on this issue in the past 30
years.  This panel of innovators will speak about their outreach efforts to
bring the message of hope and of peace in the home to many diverse, harder
to reach communities.

La violence envers les femmes affecte les familles de toutes les sphères de
notre collectivité. Il ne s’agit pas d’un problème social qu’il faut gérer,
mais plutôt d’un problème criminel auquel il faut mettre un terme. De grands
progrès ont été réalisés à cet égard au cours des 30 dernières années. Ce
groupe d’experts innovateurs parlera de ses efforts pour apporter un message
d’espoir et de paix dans les foyers d’une variété de communautés plus
difficiles à joindre.
