 In follow-up to an earlier email I sent providing information on how to
make a pre-budget submission, hearing dates have now been set for several
more communities (although this isn't currently reflected on the Ministry of
Finance's website). See below for more specific information

 PRE-BUDGET CONSULTATIONS

The Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs will meet to conduct
Pre-Budget Consultations.

The Committee intends to hold public hearings in Toronto on January 21 and
28, 2008; in Sault Ste. Marie, Timmins, and Thunder Bay during the week of
January 22, 2008; and in Kingston, Guelph, and London during the week of
January 29, 2008.

All interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation
should contact the Clerk of the Committee at 416-325-3883 by* 5:00 p.m. on
Friday, January 11, 2008.*

Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but who are interested in
commenting on the issue may send a written submission to the Clerk of the
Committee at the address below by* 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2008*.
