Hello Everyone, 

The Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration has recently released the
application guidelines for the 2008/09 Community Builders Program. I have
attached the guidelines and application form for your records. 

The Ontario’s Community Builders (OCB) program supports community
organizations to recognize the rich diversity of cultures that make up
Ontario’s population and celebrate their contribution to the social and
cultural fabric of this province. OCB welcomes applications from
organizations that acknowledge and promote Ontario’s heritage and
multiculturalism, and work towards increasing mutual understanding and
reducing racism and discrimination through education and awareness-raising,
capacity building and community engagement activities.

Funding of up to $20,000 is available for projects that support the program
priorities and do not require ongoing funding. Projects can be local or
province-wide in scope. 

The deadline to apply for this grant is July 31, 2008. If you are interested
in applying, or you have a program that you think would qualify, I urge you
to apply right away. If you have any questions, or require any assistance in
