> The Community Capacity Building (CCB) Steering Committee for issues of homelessness has just begun a process to update our community's plan to prevent and end homelessness. The current plan expires this year.
> The process will include:
> *	a questionnaire that may be completed by anyone interested in homelessness (coming soon on the Alliance listserve) 
> *	key informant interviews with people who are particularly well-placed to provide statistics or analyses of current issues, and 
> *	a community consultation meeting.
> All agencies in the homelessness service system have been invited to send up to three representatives to the community consultation meeting (two from the staff or board, and one client or former client). The invitation was also sent to representatives of some related funding bodies, as well as some planners, researchers, politicians, and business people. 
> Please understand that it is not possible to accommodate everyone who cares about homelessness at the upcoming consultation meeting. If you wish to attend and you are affiliated with an agency, you may wish to ask the Executive Director or Chair if you could be one of their three representatives.
> If your agency should be represented but has not received an invitation, or if you feel it is very important that you attend because you represent a unique point of view that will not otherwise be represented, you are welcome to contact Jennifer Mahood at the Housing Branch.
