POSITIONS: Youth Worker

Regular Part-Time, Male, Bilingual,

Overnights

24 hours per week

 

Job Summary:

Under the general direction of the Director of Community Services and the
immediate supervision of the

Coordinator of the YMES the Youth Counsellor will provide intake and
counselling services to the young

men accessing the shelter in accordance with policies and directives
established within the Bureau

 

Job Specifications/Qualifications:

. Diploma or degree in social work or relevant field

. Two years experience working with youth, preferably in a residential
setting

. Ability to work rotational shifts

. Fluency in French and English essential in designated posting
