	RE: Canada-Ontario Affordable Housing and Action Ottawa Request for Proposal Information Session

	Many housing providers and housing developers are asking the question:

	"What is the difference between the RFP Information Session to be held on July 29th and the previous Expression of Interest Information Session held on June 26th and do we have to attend this new information session?"

	Answer:

	The RFP Information Session to be held next Wednesday on July 29th will be an opportunity for interested parties to ask questions regarding the RFP which will be released early next week. The RFP will have more details regarding the AHP Extension funding as well as the City's selection criteria. We will also be registering those individuals and groups who are planning to participate in the RFP. This session is not mandatory for people to attend however it is mandatory that the Affordable Housing Division hold an information session so that people have a chance to ask and hear questions and responses regarding the process. If you do not plan to attend and would like to register your intent to participate in the RFP process please contact me at my coordinates below.

	The Affordable Housing Unit will hold a second RFP information session in September 2009 for proposals submitted on or before November 2, 2009.
