FUNDING APPLICATIONS FOR CIVIC EVENTS AVAILABLE


Local not-for-profit organizations such as volunteer-based community or
recreation associations, are invited to apply for funding to provide
one-to-two-day civic events that foster civic pride, develop community
cohesion and offer free admission.

 

Under the Community Funding Division, the Civic Events Fund supports events
linked to and celebrating a civic or statutory holiday, such as Victoria Day
or Canada Day, are held in a specific geographic district in Ottawa, and
encompass a broad range of activities, including family entertainment.

 

Maximum Allocation: $3,000

 

Application Deadline: April 2, 2009

DISPONIBILITÉ DES FORMULAIRES DE DEMANDE DE FINANCEMENT POUR LES ÉVÉNEMENTS
CIVIQUES 


 

Les organismes locaux sans but lucratif, comme les associations bénévoles
communautaires ou de loisirs, sont invités à soumettre à la Division du
financement communautaire une demande de financement pour l’organisation
d’événements civiques d’un ou de deux jours, dont l’entrée est gratuite et
qui ont pour objectif de favoriser la fierté communautaire et d’accroître la
cohésion sociale. 

 

Le Fonds pour événements civiques appuie des activités qui marquent des
jours fériés, la fête de la Reine ou la fête du Canada, entre autres, ont
lieu dans un secteur particulier d’Ottawa et englobent un large éventail
d’activités, notamment des spectacles pour la famille.

 

Somme maximale attribuée : 3 000 $

 

Date limite de présentation des demandes : le 2 avril 2009
