Government hearings into Bill 139 will be held in Toronto on March 25th.
This is the legislation that was announced recently to regulate temp
agencies. So people with disabilities who are working in low-wage jobs,
particularly if they're using temp agencies to find work, should consider
making a presentation to the committee. The Workers Action Centre, which has
done a lot of work to push for this legislation and protect precarious
workers, is preparing a submission that can be adapted. Contact Deena Ladd
at deena at workersactioncentre.org. for a copy of the submission.

Unfortunately, committee hearings will only be held for one day and only in
Toronto. Information on how to register to make a presentation is below.
