query=5708&List=toc> Bill C-304, An Act to ensure secure, adequate,
accessible and affordable housing for Canadians, just passed second reading
in the House of Commons and is going to committee for review and possible
amendment.

This is exciting news - and credit both to
<http://webinfo.parl.gc.ca/MembersOfParliament/ProfileMP.aspx?Key=128493&Lan
guage=E> MP Libby Davies, who sponsored the legislation, and the many
housing advocates who have worked hard over the years to bring this
critically important legislation forward.

More information will follow - now, take a moment to congratulate MP Davies
and to celebrate!

PS - The NDP, Bloc and Liberals all supported the bill, along with Tory MP
Peter Goldring.
