Hi folks,

 

The Poverty Reduction Strategy is going to be considered by City Council on
February 10th. The meeting will be in the Council Chambers at 110 Laurier
starting at 10:00 am. The Ottawa Poverty Reduction Network is strongly
encouraging people to come out and support the Strategy at Council.

 

The Community & Protective Services Committee report is the first one on the
agenda so - good news - it will be very early in the meeting so you won't
have to sit around all day. The other two committee reports are in camera
items so this will be the only open part of the meeting.

 

Please come out and show Council that you support this first-step-of-many
towards the reduction of poverty in our community.
