Dear Friends,

 

This month our newsletter focuses on the need for a National Housing
Strategy and on the upcoming municipal election campaign:  VOTE HOUSING.


 

The newsletter contains two events of note:

 

1.       RED TENT CAMPAIGN:  Parliament Hill,   October 19, 10 a.m.

 

2.     NATIONAL HOUSING DAY INTERFAITH SERVICE AND DINNER:   

 

Ottawa City Hall, Sunday November 21st

Interfaith Prayer Service:  5 to 6 p.m.

Dinner:  6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

 

Almost all the tables for this fundraising dinner have been spoken for.
If you wish to attend the dinner, please contact Micah Garten, dinner
chairperson, at our office (613-686-1825) right away so we can be sure
to reserve a spot for you.  Tickets are $25 to cover our costs.  We hope
that those attending will make a donation to MHI to help develop more
affordable housing.  Please Note: everyone is welcome to attend the
interfaith service alone without a ticket.
